Google PageRank gets updated on new year eve

Google has a new year gift for webmasters and SEO masters and its the update in the Google PageRank (PR). It has been a special one for this new blog which has now been upgraded to PR2 from PR0.

So, the frequency of updating PageRank seems to be increased. Last time it was updated on early November and the next was expected to be towards the end of December. In general, Google updates the PageRank about 5 times a year.
